Base is a hybrid hotel and apartment brand that offers oversized suites with fully equipped kitchens. our suites are designed to be functional, comfortable and modern. Base nyon is located next to Nyon train station and offers easy access by train or car to all parts of the la cote region.
Every one of our 52 suites at Base Nyon includes:
– fully equipped kitchen, with: oven/microwave, four ring induction hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine and all kitchen equipement.
– king sized bed – made by hypnos (maker of the queen of england’s bed) – with 1,200 pocket sprung mattress, topper & 100% cotton sheets
– floor to ceiling triple glazed windows – with black out blinds and curtains.
– table for 2 or 4 or/and a seperate desk
– rain shower
– hd internet tv’s – watch one of our 120 channels or log into netflixs or itunes and watch your own streaming subscriptions.
– 17 plug points, iron & ironing board, lots of storage space
On site we also have:
– Luigia restaurant – serving fantastic italian cusine – 7 days a week.
– Gym – with the latest technogym equipment
– Base balcony & bar (bb&b) – enjoy a drink, with a view of lake geneva and the alps
– Clothes washing room – we can wash for you or you can do yourself
Base also offers the following unique services:
– Base Bikes (BBS) – free to use by all guests
– Base Box (BB) – make a second reservation and we will put a bb in your suite the night before you leave, you fill it up with food, clothes, toiletries and you will find it in your new suite when you return.
– Base Breakfast Bag (BBB) – order what you want, have it delivered to your room in a BBB and only pay for what you order.
We are also one of the most sustainably operated hotels in Switzerland and Europe – we use no chemicals to clean the rooms, we have no throw away plastic in the building, we have solar panels and triple glazed windows along with automatic sun blinds and an efficient air cooling & heating system.
